embarrasses Stewart, who finds himself repeatedly explaining the problem to surrounding adults with the constant refrain, It was The Tooth. (Those chocolate bunnies never had a chance. It was The Tooth.) Stewart decides to stand up to the truculent tooth, and when he announces that he's opting for healthier fare in the future, the illustrations' color palette literally takes on a rosier hue.
